An 87-year-old man was arrested and charged Friday with possessing more than 100 pounds of marijuana and for allegedly running a massive weed operation out of his Denver home. 

The website The Denver Channel reports Edward Bogunovich was authorized to grow pot for medical use, but the more than 400 marijuana plants growing in his backyard well exceeded what was allowed. The near-nonagenarian was booked and later posted 10 thousand dollars bond. He has a court date Thursday.
