1962 - The Beatles recorded their hit song "Please Please Me."

1968 - Cream performed their final concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. The show was recorded and released as "Goodbye Cream" on February 20th, 1969.

1973 - The New York Dolls rocked out in their debut performance, playing a London restaurant.
